Unit of inquiry:
Today we reviewed what the three main focuses of media are 1) to inform the audience 2) to persuade/convince the audience 3) to entertain the audience. We also reviewed fact vs. opinion definitions. We then moved on to learn about point of view. We discussed how everyone has a point of view and that there are many sides to a story. We then listened to the story of the three little pigs. We discussed the three little pig's point of view on the events that happened. We then listed to the story "The true story of the three little pigs." We then discussed the Wolf's point of view on the story. We noted the sequence of events told to be the same but their were two different views on those exact events.
