Unit of inquiry:
Language: As a class we practiced adding detail to sentences. I was hoping to get details about flowers or apples but as you can see our thinking went into a different direction = $
Students in grade one: learned the difference between asking and telling sentences. We then completed a worksheet where we had to fill in either a ! or . for an asking sentence and a ? for a telling sentence. Once this was completed students continued to work on their final summative projects.
