Today was a day filled with excitement and some nervousness!
We started our morning with a quick introduction to our morning calendar, the special helper puts up the date, adds to our weather graph, and counts days at school.
We then headed to French with Mlle. Hou, please see her blog at: http://mllehousja.blogspot.com
After French we took a tour of the school, learned where the washroom and cafeteria are and about the rules of the school.
We then came back to the classroom and introduced ourselves. We said our name and two interesting things about ourselves.
Agenda: We wrote lunch forms due Friday, and put the lunch form in our agenda. Please send filled in lunch form back with correct payment (cash or cheque) in the agenda by Friday.
Daily Five: Listening to reading:
We read a story called Howard B. Wigglebottom learns about sportsmanship. We talked about being a good sport and being respectful of our team mates. We also talked about what a poor sport is and ways to not become one! We then headed to gym.

UOI/Language: We read a story called the first day jitters, we discussed the classroom rules, student weekly jobs, and daily routines.
We then worked on a back to school booklet for the rest of the day!
We also sorted our books out by subject and wrote our names on them, and organized our classroom!
Today was a great day and I look forward to a fantastic year!
