Unit of inquiry:
Today we continued our media booklet. We looked at a product advertisement. We looked at a box of cheeze -its  and decided what the advertisement was about, the intent of the commercial and the purpose of it, we also discussed the different techniques used on the product.

Language:

We also wrote our spelling test today!

Students in grade one: made a list of five nouns, adjectives, and verbs for winter!

Students in grade two: continued working on their graphic organizer, they are designing their own donut. They also drew a picture of their donut. We brainstormed different words we can use for our advertisement about the donut. They have to choose the product's name. Catchy phrases to gain the reader/listener's attention. They have to describe the size, colour, taste of the donut. Students will be working on this for a few days.
